As one component of our Mt. Spokane High School "Why" statement, (Empowering People - Abolishing Apathy - Creating What's Next), it's hard to imagine a person who attempts to empower her students each day more than Sarah Moureaux.
Serving as our English, Language Learner (ELL) teacher, Sarah serves students who navigate not only a bustling high school but also language barriers. Working with students from the Marshall Islands, Iran and Ukraine, Sarah builds genuine relationships while supporting each student through challenging courses. Never wavering in her support, our school is a better place because of Sarah Moureaux.
Recently, Sarah was featured in the ELPA21 newsletter (click HERE), and this feature is well-deserved!
Congratulations, Sarah! We are proud!
